1. Ville's favourite movie is ''Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas'' and his favourite hero is the... star of the movie, Jack Skellington!

2. Ville before HIM, was playing bass and drums. He was the bassist and the drummer in amateur Finnish bands. One of them was the ''B.L.O.O.D'' band.

3. HIM's EP ''666 Ways To Love'' (1997) has got, as a cover, a woman's face. This woman is Ville's mother, Anita.

4. Ville had declared that the long tattoo on his left hand, was done by a friend of his and that he did it when he was drunk. Later, he contradicted himself, saying that it was needed 8 dates and drinking too much just to make it.

5. Ville has a younger brother, Jesse, who was borned on 1984. Jesse, whose business are completely different from his brother (he is a ''gold'' champion of Finland and he has won a silver medal at the universal championship of Thai-boxing), he loves and admires Ville.

6. Mige declares that he drives a Scoda car from 1984 until now. He also has an album with photos of HIM, from the time they were created until now, with private and (hmm...) ''spicy'' moments of HIM. Ville adds that he likes to skim it.

7. The girl that does the second vocals with Ville in the revision of Blue Oyster Cult, ''Don't Fear The Reaper'', from ''Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666'' album, sings with Ville in ''Dark Secret Love'', too while the characteristic howling at the intro of  ''The Heartless'' song is hers.

8. Linde, who has guitaristic psychedelic and rock 'n' roll influences, shows his talent on the sideproject of HIM, ''Daniel Lioneye & The Rollers'', using on himself the specific nickname and be shown as ''The King of Rock 'n' Roll''.  This was the only personal album of Linde, something that probably the members of HIM remember as a joke. Lily Laser (vocals and guitar), Ville Valo (drums), Mige Amour (bass) were playing in the band and The Rollers were completing members of Ita-Saksa, The Skreppers, New Rose and Ravenstorm. After from only one appearance in Finland, Linde was forced to say goodbye to Daniel Lioneye because, as he said, was impossible to be in 2 bands at the same time and drinking a bottle of whiskey, at least, just to get over his nervousness, before each performance.

9. There is a secret track on the number 66 at the ''Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666'' album. This track lasts just one and half minute and is a part of ''Heartless-The Deleted Version'' song.

10. During ''Deep Shadows And Brilliant Highlights'' period, Ville was wearing a coat which was written on the phrase ''Your pretty face is going to hell''. This specific phrase is a song from Iggy Pop's album, ''Raw Power'', whom Ville thinks as his greatest idol.

11. An unexpected event which has dissapointed Ville personally and the other members of HIM, as well, was the annulment of a dream of doing concerts with Ozzy Osbourne. The reason was the accident of Ozzy with his 4 wheel motorbike that left him with 4 broken ribs and a dubious career. After 2 delays, the concert was cancelled at the end.

12. Ville has sung several traditional Finnish songs, mostly of his cooperation with Agents. Some of them are: ''Ikkunaprin-sessa'', ''Jykevaa On Rakkaus'' and ''Paratiisi''.

13. HIM have revisioned the ''Rantevouz With Annus'' song from the Norwegian Turbonegro band for the tribute collection to them, with title: ''Alpha Motherfuckers'' (June of 2001). HIM have declared that this maybe is the best revision of them.

14. When Ville was a young little boy, had smoked 6 packs of cigarrettes, one right after the other, and had drunk in the same way, several bottles of drink, at the same time. After that of course, his parents went with him at the hospital!

15. Ville's mother, when his son reached the age of 18, ''took'' him away from his home and rent for him an other place because he was allergic to their dog.

16. In a young age, Ville's idol was Gene Simmons of the Kiss band.

17. Ville is scared of heights (his mainly fear is to die in an airplane accident) and he has declared that he drinks as much as he can not understand what's happening to him or to sleep in all over the trip. He also suffers from asthma and he is allergic to flowers.

18. The members of HIM has changed several times until now. The EP period (1997) Linde was at the place of guitarist, Mige on bass, Juhanna Tuomas Rantala on drums and Annto Melasniemi on keybord. Later Zoltan Pluto took his position. However, on 2001 he left the band for studies reasons and Burton took his position at the band who was friend and old collaborator with HIM.

19. Ville was borned on the 22nd of November on 1976 and grew up at Helsinki's suburbs, at Oulunkylä. His sign is Scorpio and his whole name is Ville Hermanni (Valo). The word ''valo'' means light on Finnish language. He has got 7 tattoos on his body: One on his left arm, one heart on his right wrist, the ''Cosmic Pope'' (sign of HIM) on his left leg, the ''flame symbol'' on his right leg and three different heartagram tattoos on his whole body.

20. The famous ''Heartagram'' was an inspiration of Ville after several paintings, which finished a professional painter for HIM. For Ville, this symbol is synonymous with yin and yang, a balance between good and evil, love and death.

21. Mige collects Bibles, which steals from hotels' rooms that HIM stay at for their concerts.

1~ I am a quite difficult person. I don't trust anyone I see and sometimes I doubt for some of my friends.

2~ I get really nervous when people have annoying habits.

3~ I'm in love with a gay. Although I have a relationship with a girl.

4~ I hate people who judge each other by appearance.

5~ I get anxious when something hasn't been finished.

6~ I love ALL the animals! I mean it! Even the crocodiles, the lions and the tigers!

7~ I can't sing very loud or very low. Especially very low!

8~ I can't have 2 relationships the same time. It's something that I really don't like!

For those who can't read this, i'm sorry but the words were very difficult to translate in english. Just to know, i talk about the people who listen the same music as we do, what they do, where they hang out and stuff like that.

Στην εξωτερική εμφάνιση όλες οι φόρμες είναι αποδεκτές -σε αντίθεση με την ''δικτατορία'' της Barbie που επικρατεί στα ΜΜΕ. Χα! Το μαύρο χιούμορ πάει αγκαζέ με τόνους αυτοσαρκασμού. Και εμμονή με τον θάνατο δεν έχουν, μπορούν όμως να αναγνωρίσουν τη χρησιμότητα του στη ζωή -και κυρίως στην τέχνη- χωρίς να φτύνουν τον κόρφο τους. Οπότε, όποιος θέλει να μπει στο άνδρο τους, καλύτερα να αφήσει στην είσοδο τα κοινωνικά στερεότυπα. Τα φτωχά κλισέ δεν έχουν καμιά θέση σ' αυτόν τον μικρόκοσμο.''

Μέρη που συχνάζουν: Για ένα πρώτο ποτό στην Alley Cat, στην Dada (αμνημόνευτες στιγμές!), ή στην Closer. Σειρά έχουν τα: Underworld Dark Sun Rebound ή Μο Better.

Tα Dark SOS: Απλά μαύρα ρούχα, βινίλ φορέματα, νυφικά (λευκά ή μαύρα), δαντέλες, βικτοριανά ρούχα με βολάν, κορσέδες, τριπάτες μπότες με μεταλλικές αγκράφες (αν σε πατήσουν με αυτές παθαίνεις θλάση lol), γάντια χωρίς δάχτυλα από δαντέλα, δίχτυ ή PVC, τσόκερ με καρφιά, μανικιούρ-κάρβουνο και άπειρο μαύρο μακιγιάζ στα μάτια (όλα unisex).

Τι ακούνε: Από Cure μέχρι Klaus Nomi, από New Wave μέχρι Noise Industrial, από Gothic μέχρι Metal και από εκεί στην electro με οπερετικά φωνητικά.

Τι βλέπουν: Πειραματικά οπτικοακουστικά θεάματα, ιστορικές ταινίες, επιστημονικής φαντασίας, ταινίες τρόμου, ψυχολογικά θρίλερ, b-movies splutter, μουσικά dvd, ντοκιμαντέρ και ότι άλλο τους κεντρίσει το ενδιαφέρον -ακόμα και Μπομπ Σφουγγαράκη (Χε χε!)

Φετίχ: Μαύρα κεριά και κεριά νεκροταφείου, πάσης φύσεως αλυσίδες και βελούδο.

Πού τους συναντάς: Στα ''δικά'' τους μαγαζιά, σε εγχώριες και ευρωπαϊκές συναυλίες, σε διαδυκτιακούς τόπους της ''κοινότητας''.

Αγαπημένοι προορισμοί: Βερολίνο (Χε-χε!), Λονδίνο (Χε-χε πάλι!), Πράγα, όλη η Σκανδιναβία (double χε-χε!), Ισλανδία και γενικά όσο πιο βορρά... τόσο πιο καλά!

Συχνές εκφράσεις: ''Οh my goth! I'm so depeched!'' (λογοπαίγνιο-μαύρο χιούμορ για καταθληπτικές περιόδους) και ''Γ*ώ τη γκοθιά μου, κλείσε τα παντζούρια!'' (dark-άς ξυπνάει σε πανικό, με τις κουρτίνες ορθάνοιχτες και ηλιοφάνεια Καλιφόρνιας).
